About NASMM

The National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM) has over 1,000 members in the US, Canada and other countries dedicated to helping older adults, individuals, and families downsize, relocate or organize and simplify their homes.

 

Our Mission

Our mission is to facilitate the physical and emotional aspects of relocation for older adults, individuals and families, to increase industry awareness, to establish a national referral network, to enhance the professional competence of members, and to promote the delivery of our services with compassion and integrity.

 

Our History

It all started in a Philadelphia living room in 2002, when a small group of individuals offering senior move management services gathered to network and exchange ideas. As pioneers in a rapidly emerging industry, they recognized the value of sharing their knowledge and supporting each other. They developed the mission and structure of NASMM over the winter of 2003.

 

What We Do

NASMM is a non-profit trade association offering membership to professionals working in the senior and specialty move management field.

 

We Offer

  • Continuing education and professional development through a wide variety of programs
  • Credentialing through the SMM~C and NASMM A+ Accreditation programs
  • An Annual Conference featuring industry experts & leading voices in move management, organizing and downsizing.
