Essential Training Requirements for New NASMM Members
All owners of Provisional NASMM member companies are required to complete four (4) Cornerstone Courses) to elevate to full Professional Member status.
Additionally, individuals seeking certification through NASMM’s Senior Move Manager Certified (SMM-C) program must also complete the four (4) Cornerstone Courses.
The four online certificate classes include:
- Senior Move Management Ethics & Accountability
- Senior Move Management Safety
- Moving Industry: 101
- Contracts & Liability
Each owner is required to purchase and take all four (4) classes.

- Ethics & Accountability (Revised 2015): FREE

Accessing the Courses & Certificates
Upon purchasing the course(s) you will immediately receive an email confirmation with a link(s) to the course(s), tests and any supporting materials.
To access your certificates:
- Log into My NASMM
- Click on "Manage My NASMM"
- Click on "My Course History"
- You will see a listing of your courses and the status
- Click on the printer icon next to each course listing to print your certificate, or save the certificate as a .pdf to store a digital copy on your computer
If you are applying for NASMM's Senior Move Manager Certified (SMM-C) Designation and need to upload your CornerstoneCourse Certificates:
- Log into My NASMM
- Click on "Manage My NASMM"
- Click on "My Course History"
- You will see a listing of your courses and the status
- Click on the printer icon next to each course listing
- Save the certificate as a .pdf file to your computer
- Go to Manage SMM-C Certification
- Upload the certificate(s) to your online application
